If you add your Mini App to the Home Screen, users will be able to open the Mini App in two taps — without searching for the bot in chats and without navigating through the menu. This is convenient because:
quick access: the Mini App is always at hand, like a regular icon on the phone;
fewer steps to the content: the user returns to lessons and materials faster.
1. Activate the Mini App on the platform
Open the "Mini App" page and tap "Activate" in the top-right corner.
If the system asks you to complete setup — follow all the steps and tap "Done".
If during the Mini App activation you forgot to link the URL in the BotFather settings, you can always do it in the Mini App settings. This option is available next to the "Activate" button.
2. Open the Mini App in Telegram
Open the chat with your bot and tap the button that launches the Mini App. After that, the Mini App will open inside Telegram.
3. Add the Mini App icon to the Home Screen
In the opened Mini App, tap "⋯" in the top-right corner.
Select "Add to Home Screen".
After that, a prompt with instructions for adding in the browser will open. Tap the "Share" button at the bottom.
In the menu, select Add to Home Screen.
If needed, edit the name and tap Add.
Go to the Home Screen — the Mini App icon will be added.
Done: now the user can launch the Mini App directly from the home screen.
