How to design a «Mini App» product

Bot username


When creating a bot, we recommend that you specify a concise username so that it is convenient to enter it into the search. The optimal username length is up to 10 characters:


Bot name


We recommend choosing a simple, understandable and memorable name for the bot. It can be the name of an expert, the name of a project, the name of a course/marathon.

The recommended length of the name is up to 22 characters so that it is displayed correctly on all devices:


Bot greetings

A bot description can answer the question “What can this bot do?” and have a call to action so that a person understands where he is and what to do next:

Product name

The product name will be displayed in the list of all products in the “Content” section, so it should be concise, without any additional internal information.

You can add numbering to lesson titles, for example: “Lesson 1. Lesson Title” or “1. Lesson Title”. This helps subscribers visually navigate, especially when there are many lessons.


Lesson description


The description should not take up more than half of the screen to make it easier for the subscriber to perceive the content:

Use text formatting to highlight key points in the text that are worth paying attention to. Don't forget to space the paragraphs to make the text more readable.


Video and materials in the lesson


Be sure to add a cover to the video, as it will be displayed among all other lessons in the product. If you don’t add one, a gradient cover in the color of your app will be automatically created for the video.

The cover is shown in the list of all lessons and before the video playback.




Add materials that subscribers will see at a specific step:

  • Lesson presentation

  • PDF file

  • Audio files

  • Images

  • Tables

  • Text documents

Modules in the product

Combine steps into modules so that the product content is organized by topic and easier for your subscriber to navigate. If steps are not added to modules, they will appear as a continuous list in the product.

The recommended length for a module name is up to 32 characters to ensure it displays correctly on all devices:


Progress display

In the product settings, you can enable or disable progress display for subscribers.


Lesson access in the mini app

In the list of all lessons, you can set the visibility of each lesson for subscribers:

  • Immediately — access to the lesson opens right after the subscriber is added to the product

  • After previous — access to the lesson opens after the subscriber completes the previous lesson

  • After a delay — access to the lesson opens after the time you specify following the subscriber’s addition to the product

  • On a exact date — access to the lesson opens on the chosen date

  • On an exact day — access to the lesson opens on the day you select in the settings (a specific day, after N days, or the day following a set date)
