Zenedu MCP

Setup guide and prompt templates for working with Zenedu via MCP

MCP is a tool that connects an AI agent (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and others) to your Zenedu account. In a chat, you can ask it to build a course, prepare messages, funnels, and automations, analyze sales and student data, and much more.

How to set up

  1. In Zenedu, click your profile avatar in the top-right corner and select MCP.

    MCP in the profile menu
  2. In the Connections section, click Copy prompt and send the copied prompt to your AI agent. The agent will help set up the connection. If your AI service requires manual setup, open the setup guide and follow the instructions for your service.

Connections and the Copy prompt button
  3. Follow your AI agent’s setup steps and approve adding the MCP server if prompted. The agent or AI service will open the Zenedu sign-in page in your browser. Sign in to your Zenedu account if you are not already signed in.

  4. Check the account shown on the page. Under Choose a project, select the project you want to connect, then click Allow access. The AI agent will be able to work with that project and access its data within your permissions. You do not need to copy an API token for this OAuth connection.

  5. Return to your AI agent and wait for confirmation that the connection is ready. You can then send one of the prompts below. You can view connections and revoke access in Zenedu under profile avatar → MCP.

How to use prompts

Start with the task you want to solve in Zenedu: build a course, prepare a launch, or analyze sales.

Below are ready-to-use prompts that make it easy to start a conversation with your AI agent. Choose a suitable example, replace the text in square brackets with your data, and send it to the chat.

Sales

Send a free guide and offer a course

I want a person to send "GUIDE" to the bot and receive my free material [file or link]. The next day, they should receive a helpful tip on the topic, and the day after that — an offer for the course [name]. Write the messages and set up the sequence in Zenedu. Do not send the offer to those who have already purchased the course.

Make a simple sale via bot

Build a short sales sequence in my bot for [product]. First, explain who it is for and what result it delivers, then show the curriculum and offer to purchase. Use information from the product, and ask me if anything is missing. No free lessons or lengthy warm-ups.

Recommend the right product based on user response

In the bot, I want to ask: "What do you need most right now — [Option A] or [Option B]?" For those who choose the first option, offer [Product A]; for the second, offer [Product B]. Prepare a brief explanation of the value and a purchase button for each. Do not offer a product the user already owns.

Remind about an unpaid order

If someone placed an order for [product] but hasn't paid, I want to remind them about payment after 1 hour, and offer assistance the next day. Prepare the automation and copy for both messages. If the order has already been paid, reminders must not be sent.

Stop selling to those who already bought

After purchasing [product], the customer should stop receiving messages from the sales funnel [name]. Instead, send them a thank-you note and instructions on where to find the purchased materials. Set up this connection.

Offer the next course upon completion of the first

When a student completes course [A], I want to congratulate them the next day and suggest course [B] as the next step. Write the message, explain the connection between the courses, and add a link to purchase. Set up the automation, excluding those who already have access to course [B].

Products

Build a mini-course from your materials

Attach the curriculum, text, or other materials to the message.

Help me build a mini-course in Zenedu from my materials. Outcome for the student: [what they will learn]. Duration: [timeframe]. Suggest the lesson sequence, titles, and brief assignments. Highlight what's missing. Once approved, create the course and list what needs to be added manually.

Prepare a new version of an existing product

Based on the course [name], I want to prepare [an intensive, next cohort, or expanded edition]. New student outcome: [result]. Key changes: [what changes]. Review the current course and suggest what to keep, remove, or add. Once approved, create the new version. Do not modify the original course or existing student access.

Check readiness for initial sales

Check if the course [name] is ready for sales: materials, pricing, payment, and access provisioning. Highlight what blocks the launch, what can be improved later, and what couldn't be verified. Provide a concise test plan for the buyer journey. Do not change settings.

Launches and webinars

Collect pre-registrations for a new course

I am preparing the course [topic] and want to collect pre-registrations via the bot. Ask the user what their main challenge is on this topic, and confirm they are on the list. Sales open on [date and time, time zone] — that's when the curriculum and purchase link should be sent. Write the messages and configure the sequence.

Register attendees for a webinar and offer a product

I am hosting a webinar [title] on [date and time, time zone]. Set up registration via the bot: confirmation, reminders 1 day and 1 hour before, and the stream link before start. After the webinar, offer [product]. Ask me for the stream link and product details if missing.

Subscriptions and clubs

Help a club member resolve a failed renewal payment

If a club member's [name] subscription renewal fails, I want to send a clear message explaining the issue and how to resolve it. If the subscription is still unpaid after a day, send one more reminder. Once payment succeeds, messages must stop. Prepare the copy and automation.

Invite a member back to the club

Three days after access to the club [name] expires, I want to invite the member to return. In the message, share what's coming up in the club next month: [program], and provide an option to re-subscribe. If the person has already returned, do not send the invitation. Prepare the scenario without discounts.

Analytics

Find growth opportunities in sales

If you already have sales, providing just the bot name is sufficient for the first query.

Analyze sales for the bot [name] over the last 30 days. If there were no payments, take the latest month with orders and state it. Compare products and pricing tiers: paid orders, total revenue, and refunds. What should be changed in the product, pricing, or description? Suggest up to three ideas supported by figures. If data is limited, indicate what to check first. Do not change settings.

What you get: a sales table across offers and ideas to test. You can continue in the same chat: "How do I test the second idea?"

If you don't have sales yet, select the "Check readiness for initial sales" prompt below.

Compare cohorts and build a student dashboard

Build a dashboard for the course [name] over [period]. Compare cohorts by student count, activity, and purchases. If lesson completion data is available, add progress and completion rates. To compare learning progress, use equal time elapsed since kickoff. Present tables and charts, and highlight groups that need help. If cohort segmentation is unclear, ask me. Explicitly note metrics without available data.

What you get: tables and charts based on available course data. The AI agent will help compare cohorts and highlight metrics with missing data.

Custom scenario

Build a template with automations for your goal

Describe what should happen with the customer — from the first touchpoint to purchase or renewal.

I want the following outcome: [describe desired customer journey]. Prepare a Zenedu scenario template for it: required funnels, messages, triggers, conditions, and delays. Show what triggers each step and when messages stop. Account for existing buyers and returning users. First show the diagram. Indicate what can be built via MCP and what can be saved for reuse.

What you get: a scenario flow, message copy, and a setup plan in Zenedu. Once approved, the AI agent will create available components via MCP.

To reuse the scenario, ask the AI agent what is preserved as a template and which connections must be configured again.
