5 simple steps to create and launch a product.

Updated over a week ago

To create a course, marathon, coaching, webinar or any other educational product in Zenedu - follow 5 simple steps:

Step 1. Add bot

The bot in Zenedu is the equivalent of a student's personal account. In it he will be able to watch lessons, send homework, ask questions, get feedback, and much more.

To get started with the platform — create and add a bot in 1 minute:

1. Go to the Telegram bot @BotFather and click the “Start” button:

2. Enter the command /newbot:

3. Enter the bot's name:

4. Enter the username of the bot which ends with the word bot. As an example: ZeneduBot or zenedu_bot.

5. Bot created! Copy the token from the last message:

6. Go back to the “Bots” section and click the “Add Bot” button:

7. Insert the token in the window that opens and click the “Add” button:

After you can also customize the bot: change its name, avatar, description or information about it.

Step 2. Create product

The next step after adding a bot is to create a product.

As we mentioned above, in Zenedu you can create different types of products: marathons, courses, coaching programs or webinars.

You can conduct training in streams, tied to specific dates and times, or completely automate the client journey so that he can start the program on any convenient day.

To create your first product — click the “Create Product” button:

After — enter the name of the product and click “Create”:

Create a new offer or select an existing one and click “Create”:

Step 3. Add Content

Each product in Zenedu consists of steps — small portions of content that you want to share with other people.

At this stage it can be a message or a lesson, but in the future they will also add assignments and surveys.

Let's add a welcome-step for a new subscriber. To do this:

1. Click the “Add Step” button:

2. Select the type of step. In our case it is “Message”:

3. Enter the title and text of the message:

4. If desired, add an attachment by clicking the “Add” button in the appropriate section. This can be an image, video, audio, file, sticker, voice or video message:

5. Below you can also add buttons to the message, change the status of the step and choose when to send it. Since the default settings are fine for us — just click on the “Save” button:

On the same principle, you can continue to fill the product with all the necessary content.

Step 4. Activate product

When you're ready for other people to access the content as well and start going through the product — activate it. To do this, click on the “Activate” button in the upper right corner of the screen:

Step 5. Share link

After creating, filling content and activating the product — it's time to invite the first subscribers.

All you have to do is click the “Copy” button in the window that opens and share the link with your audience:

To make sure that everything works correctly — we recommend that you first follow the link and subscribe to the bot yourself. To do this:

1. Click on the link:

2. Confirm to open Telegram:

3. Click the “Start” button in the bot:

By subscribing to the bot we added in the first step, you will instantly receive a welcome message:

Your future subscribers will go the same way — now they don't need to save the site with a personal account in bookmarks and remember passwords from it. Training will be available in the familiar place in a few clicks.

Later, you can always copy the link to the product by clicking on the “Link” button in the upper right corner of the screen:

What to do next

If you go back to the platform after subscribing to the bot, you will see that you have updated stats on subscribers in the product — 1 person started the training and ended up completing it:

If you're curious about who it was, just click on the “Started” or “Finished” tile. This will take you to the subscribers section, where you'll see a list of the people you're looking for:

If you want to get to know the person even better, click on their name and you'll see their profile with status, date of subscription and last activity, contacts, tags, notes, and a list of products:

From your profile, you can also write directly to a subscriber by clicking on the “Start сhat” button:

The chats make it easy to answer students' questions, give feedback on assignments, or send personalized suggestions.

In addition to text, you can send images, videos, files, stickers, gifs, emoji, voice, and video messages to your subscribers. In other words, you can communicate as you would directly from a messenger:

Thanks to the mini subscriber profile in chats — you'll always be in context and better understand who you're talking to:

All messages sent from Zenedu will arrive to people in the same bot.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask them in the community, in the chat on the platform or on Telegram. Always happy to help 🖖🏻
