Funnels are a marketing tool on our platform designed for multi-step audience warming. They are launched before the main product to engage users, allow them to see the value of your core offering, and remind them about it.
1. Why do you need a funnel?
If the product is the final goal — the content that the user pays to access — then the funnel is the path that leads them to that goal.
Examples of proper funnel usage:
launching free marathons with lessons and content, at the end of which you plan to sell the main course;
you want to sell paid consultations as part of the main product and, before that, demonstrate your value as an expert through a series of free content;
you have a free lead magnet (webinar, checklist, collection of materials) that includes several steps, and you need the audience to go through all the content before buying the main course.
2. Difference between funnels and broadcasts
If you want to make a specific announcement or message to your audience, then the broadcast tool is a better fit.
Funnels are a comprehensive marketing approach aimed at warming up the audience and turning their interest into a desire to purchase.
A funnel:
includes not only messages but also lessons, tasks, quizzes, and surveys;
allows you to create a step-by-step structure;
supports automatic step deletion;
provides a customizable link (landing page);
allows adding a menu, collecting contacts, tracking conversion, and editing appearance.
3. When should you create a funnel?
A funnel will be helpful if:
you have a new or cold audience that needs to be “warmed up”;
you are planning to launch a new product;
you want to launch a free webinar or marathon to collect contacts;
you need to test a hypothesis (interest in the topic).
We recommend building your funnel steps logically so that the “value” of your content increases with each step.
For example, if you want to give access to a guide and a few free video tutorials through the funnel, then split them into steps and start with the content of the lowest value. This will help create a sense of increasing value for your audience.
We also recommend actually breaking this content into several steps so it's clear how much value you're providing.
