How to create a broadcast

Updated yesterday

Broadcasts are a tool that allows you to manually send important information, updates, or useful materials to your subscribers. You create the message yourself, choose the audience, and set the delivery time. This is an ideal solution for announcements, upsells, and targeted marketing messages to clients.

1. Go to the “Broadcasts” section

Open the Marketing → Broadcasts.

2. Create a new broadcast

Click on «+ Create broadcast».

3. Fill in the broadcast content

In the first step, provide:

  • Broadcast name — for internal use only

  • Text — this is what your subscribers will see

If needed, you can add:

  • Attachments (PDF, images, videos, etc.)

  • Buttons

After filling in the content, you can enable additional settings:

  • Content protection — restricts the ability to copy or forward the broadcast content;

  • Preview links — enabled by default.
    Allows Telegram to display images or descriptions for links inside your message.

When everything is ready, click Save and continue.

4. Select recipients

At this step, choose who will receive your message.

You’ll see a list of all your subscribers. Use filters to target specific groups (for example, only those who are enrolled in a specific product).

After selecting recipients, click Save and continue.

5. Set the delivery time

The final step is to choose when to send your broadcast:

  • Send now — the broadcast will be delivered immediately

  • Schedule — set the date and time for sending

Once done, click Send now or Schedule, depending on your goal.

✅ Done! You’ve created a broadcast. Now you can use this tool to stay connected with your audience, share updates, and increase engagement.

Managing broadcasts

After creation, all your broadcasts will appear in a list. From there, you can track the status, date/time of sending, delivery, and click statistics.

Broadcast statuses:

  • Draft — not yet finished or sent;

  • Scheduled — will be sent at the specified time in the future;

  • Sent — already delivered to subscribers;

  • Deleted — the broadcast was sent and then deleted from the bot's subscribers.

"Delivered" column:

This column shows how many subscribers successfully received the message.

For example, 6/8 means that 6 out of 8 subscribers received the broadcast, while 2 did not — due to technical reasons.

"Clicked" column:

If your broadcast includes buttons, you’ll see how many subscribers clicked them.

For example, 1/8 means that only one person out of eight who received the message clicked the button.

Actions menu (three dots on the right)

Click the three dots next to any broadcast to access more options:

For scheduled broadcasts:

  • Preview — see what the message looks like before it’s sent.

  • Duplicate — create a copy of the broadcast.

  • Cancel — stop the message from being sent. After canceling, the status will change to Deleted.

For sent broadcasts:

  • Preview

  • Duplicate

  • Delete from subscribers — removes the message from the subscribers’ bot.

    ⚠️ Available only within 48 hours after sending.

    Use it carefully: the message will disappear from the subscriber's chat.
