Zenedu Web is a web platform where your students can undergo training through a regular browser: from a computer, tablet, or phone.
You customize the appearance of the platform, add navigation, and publish it via a separate link. After logging in, each student sees only the products, lessons, and progress available to them.
Zenedu Web is especially convenient to use for comprehensive courses, long-term programs, and products that are more comfortable to work with on a large screen.
What Zenedu Web is used for
With Zenedu Web, you can:
provide students with access to training via a browser;
design the platform in your brand's style;
set up separate navigation;
place products, lessons, and learning materials;
show students their current progress;
give the opportunity to continue learning from different devices;
share a direct link to the platform with students.
Zenedu Web is part of your project in Zenedu and works with already created products of the "In the portal" format and access granted to students. You do not need to create separate copies of products specifically for the web platform.
How student access works
Zenedu Web is not an open website containing all your materials. The platform's content depends on the specific student.
After logging in, the student will only see:
products to which they have been granted access;
lessons currently available;
their progress;
completed lessons;
saved materials.
Logging into Zenedu Web itself does not automatically grant access to a product. The product must first be added to the student — for example, after a successful payment or another configured action in Zenedu.
How to set up Zenedu Web
Open the desired project and go to the section:
"Portal" → "Web Platform":
Inside the section, three main tabs are available:
Navigation — sections and menu items of the platform.
Appearance — look and feel, and corporate identity.
Settings — link, login methods, and additional parameters.
Configure each tab, check the result via preview, and then publish the platform.
Step 1. Set up navigation
In the "Navigation" tab, choose which sections will be available to students.
You can set up menu items and arrange them in the desired order. Navigation helps students find products, saved materials, and other available sections faster.
When setting up navigation, consider the learning structure. Do not add unnecessary sections if students do not need them: the simpler the menu, the easier it is to navigate the platform.
Step 2. Customize appearance
Go to the "Design" tab and customize the look of the platform.
Depending on the available parameters, you can change:
Name;
Logo;
Color;
Theme;
Other identity elements.
Use contrasting colors and a clearly legible logo. After configuring, be sure to check how the platform looks on a computer and mobile device.
Step 3. Check settings
Open the "Settings" tab.
Located here:
link to Zenedu Web;
phone number login setting;
web platform favicon;
custom domain setting (not available yet).
Link
The address of your web platform is displayed in the "Link" field.
You can:
copy the link;
open the platform in a new tab;
send the link to students;
add it to a website or landing page;
use it in messages and mailings.
Make sure the platform is published before sending the link to students.
Favicon
A favicon is a small icon displayed next to the page title in a browser tab.
You can upload an image in PNG, JPG, SVG, or ICO format up to 512 KB in size.
Custom favicon configuration is available on the Pro plan.
Custom domain
The settings show the option to connect a custom domain. It is currently marked as "Coming Soon," so connecting a custom address instead of the standard Zenedu link is not possible yet.
How to activate Zenedu Web
When configuration is complete, click "Activate":
After publication, the platform will become available to students via its link.
If you later change the navigation or appearance, check the changes and publish them again. Until republished, students will see the previously published version.
If necessary, Zenedu Web can be unpublished. After that, the regular link will stop opening the version of the platform accessible to students.
How students log into Zenedu Web
A student's Telegram account is used for logging in. This allows Zenedu to identify who opened the platform and show the correct products, access rights, and progress.
The login process works as follows:
The student opens the link to Zenedu Web.
Chooses the suggested login method.
Confirms authorization via Telegram.
Returns to the browser.
Sees the products available to them.
Depending on the device, the student can confirm login via Telegram or go to the bot via a link or QR code.
It is important to use the same Telegram account to which access to the product was granted for logging in.
If the student uses a different Telegram account, Zenedu will identify them as a different subscriber. In this case, the required product may not be displayed.
Login by phone number
In the "Settings" section, you can additionally enable "Login by phone number".
This method can be convenient if the student opens Zenedu Web on a device where the Telegram app is not running.
Authorization is still performed using a Telegram account. This is not a separate registration in Zenedu by phone number.
To enable this method:
Go to "Portal" → "Web Platform" → "Settings".
Open the "Login by phone number" parameter.
Perform the Login Widget setup via @BotFather as indicated in the interface.
Enable login by phone number.
Check authorization via the published link.
If the Login Widget is not configured via @BotFather, the login button may not work.
How progress is saved
Progress is tied to the student, product, and lessons, not to a specific browser.
Therefore, the student can:
start learning on a computer;
continue it from a phone;
return later and see updated progress;
use Zenedu Web and the Web App without losing results.
If a lesson is marked as completed in Zenedu Web, it will also be considered completed in the Web App. Similarly, student actions in the Web App are reflected in Zenedu Web.
At the same time, the appearance, navigation, and publication of Zenedu Web and the App are configured separately.
What Zenedu Web and the Web App have in common
Zenedu Web can be used as a standalone learning platform. It is not necessary to set up the Web App first to work with it.
However, both options work with the shared learning part of the project:
the same products;
the same lessons;
student accesses;
shared progress;
saved lessons.
The difference lies in the method of use:
Zenedu Web opens via a link in a browser;
The Web App opens inside Telegram.
You can use Zenedu Web only or offer students both options.
