Meta Pixel allows you to track the actions of visitors to your landing pages. Tracked conversions will be displayed in Meta Events Manager, helping you analyze the effectiveness of your funnels and fine-tune your advertising campaigns.
And if you want to see in-depth statistics for each subscriber (which specific ad creative they bought on the Zenedu mini-landing page or added to the bot), you can also connect the Facebook Conversion API to our service.
1. How to connect Meta Pixel to Zenedu
Go to Bot Settings → Integrations.
Paste "Meta Pixel ID" in the appropriate field:
2. How Meta Pixel works in Zenedu
Once you connect Meta Pixel to Zenedu, we will automatically start sending events to Meta Events Manager:
Page View — landing page view
Purchase — payment for an offer (redirect to the thank you page)
If you connect Meta Conversion API, you will be able to track more events.
You can also configure the Purchase event manually. Our thank you pages look like this: https://app.zenedu.io/l/1234567890/result, where “result” is the static part of the link that you need to specify when configuring custom conversions.
3. How to connect Meta Conversion API to Zenedu
Go to Events Manager and select the pixel you previously connected to Zenedu
Select “Settings”, scroll down the page, and find the CAPI settings
You need to leave the selected item as shown in the screenshot and click the “Generate access Token” button. You will see a code that you need to copy.
Paste the code into the “Meta Conversions API Token” field in Zenedu.
After 30 minutes, test your pixel. For example, make a test payment on the landing page or unsubscribe, and then log into the bot. These events should be transmitted to your Events Manager in Meta.
Important: all events are broadcast with a 30-minute delay.
Another important principle: CAPI records a subscriber’s transition only when their first contact is with a Zenedu landing page. If ads direct users straight to the bot, the transitions and conversions will not be tracked.
4. How Meta Conversion API works in Zenedu
Once connected, three types of events will be recorded and transmitted to the main events page and to a specific pixel:
We track three types of events:
Lead — the subscriber’s first entry into the bot (after previously visiting a Zenedu landing page).
InitiateCheckout — the start of a purchase, an order has been created (but may not yet be paid for) from your Zenedu landing page or bot
Purchase — a purchase from your Zenedu landing page or bot
How specific ad creatives are tracked:
When setting up an ad campaign in Ads Manager, you set the target URL directly to your mini-landing page in Zenedu.
The user clicks on the ad on Facebook/Instagram.
When the user clicks, Meta automatically adds the fbclid parameter (unique to the click) to the URL.
The user is taken to your landing page with ?fbclid=... (or &fbclid=..., if UTM already exists).
In your company's analytics dashboard, you can see the conversion performance of specific creatives.
