Telegram has introduced a new currency - Telegram Stars, thanks to which chatbot developers can accept payments for digital goods and services.
With Telegram Stars, you can increase conversion rates while remaining compliant with Telegram and Apple/Google regulations.
How it works?
A customer tops up their Telegram Stars balance. Then, using this currency, your customers can pay for a digital product
The Stars rate is $0.013 USD, but may vary for each currency.
General
Digital goods and services, including the functionality of the bot itself, can only be sold for Stars. Although it is not prohibited to sell goods through the site, an alternative method of payment for Stars in the bot must be provided.
The bot must have the /paysupport (payment issues), /support (general issues) and /terms (agreement) commands working. If you do not comply with these requirements, Telegram may delete your account.
Earned Stars are deleted after 3 years if not used.
Where the funds will be withdrawn
Telegram Stars are withdrawn to Toncoin using the Fragment platform.
Earned funds will be displayed in the profile of the bot for which Stars payment is connected.

How to connect
To connect Telegram Stars as a payment method, you need to do the following:
Go to the “Payment Methods” section in your account settings
2. Click “Add” and select an automatic payment method
3. Enter a name and select Telegram Stars
4. Activate for all tariffs if necessary and click “Add”
